What percentage of the U.S. population has at least a bachelor's degree?
The answer is 27%. I am not technically amongst that number. I find that number astounding. I think there is a perception that everyone goes on to college and graduates — at least amonst the middle class. The truth is very different. There are at least two americas, and we need to open our eyes to that fact.
On the plus side, in 1990 the number was 20.3%. So the gap seems to be closing…
