Dear Microsoft,
I think you make a good operating system. I really do. Not a great one, but a really good one. But it needs improvement. I would like you to shamelessly copy something from Apple/NeXTStep. I want you to copy the Application Package structure, so that to install you need to do nothing more than copy one file into place and it just works. Please? You are so close right now with .Net and self registering DLLs. If you just track when the directory of an application is added to the filesystem, and when it is removed then you will have seemless and pain free installation and uninstallation. Please?
