Bug, Hack, and Kludge...
Kludge (nee kluge) is (I think) the third term of art in its class of word.  The first, of course, is Bug (which predates the world of computers).  The second would be Hack. Simply put this is one of the coolest efforts I have ever heard about.  The Giant Pouched Rat is smart, has a long lifespan for a rat (about 8 years), and is apparently kinda tasty; but let us not dwell on that part.
