Tash USB King keyboard →
It is interesting.  I don’t know how it would be to use, but can I just point out that it costs more than $1000!

I am sadzorz
Saw I am Legend . Very glad I did, but it is not a happy movie.  Not a great “hey honey let’s go out and see a movie, it will be fun!” kinda movie. Sad now…

I've tried, god knows I've tried...
…to really like NetBeans, lord knows it has a lot of great features.  And it feels better put together, more thought out, than Eclipse.  It is better than it ever has been, but there are lots of little holes — little features and niceties — that it is missing.  It might be time to think about ponying up the $250 for IDEA…

I wonder
I wonder when the RIAA is going to start prosecuting CD shoplifters the same way they do downloaders…

The Nines on BitTorrent →
John August’s blog should be required reading for anyone interested in how films are written.  He also directed a Movie called The Nines which I encourage you to see. In this post he describes what it feels like to find that the film you wrote and directed is up on BitTorrent.  He is pleasently OK with it, and then gives a good list of reasons why you should by the DVD.  Good for...

Thanks Apple!
Hey Apple, thanks for the new iPhone update.  You finally gave me Manually Manage Music back.  I also love the new location feature in maps, webclips, and all but I would still like to: eMail a specific map Send a picture with the lat and long embedded in the image (you know Geotagging) See the shownots of a podcase (something the Classic iPod and Nano can do) Use a differnt font in...

My not so sad duty...
It is my not so sad duty to point to my post of Dec 23rd and say “Never Mind.” My father exceeded all expectations (especially his own), and was discharged a few days ago.  Revery will be longer and harder than anyone likes the sound of, but it should be recovery non the less…

Tic Tac Toe Chicken →
I played one of these 25+ years ago.  It has a hyponitic quality.  Even though you know you can’t win (TTT is a NP complete problem, and if you move second there is no way to win).  Still the chicken is cute…

What percentage of the U.S. population has at... →
The answer is 27%.  I am not technically amongst that number. I find that number astounding.  I think there is a perception that everyone goes on to college and graduates — at least amonst the middle class.  The truth is very different.  There are at least two americas, and we need to open our eyes to that fact. On the plus side, in 1990 the number was 20.3%.  So the gap seems to be...

Microsoft Pro Photo: Never Forget a Lens Again →
I got to say that MS has been showing a lot of love to Photographers lately. Hey Apple! I would love to see you do something similar.  You have made a good start, but stop pushing your own software and have a page that talks about all the great stuff out there, including your own…
